TREATMENT AND SUPPORT
> Incorporating Functional, Nutritional and Environmental Medicine
Root causes sought through interview and testing.
Family preference and circumstances taken into account.
Testing options include bloods, methylation markers, genes for neurotransmitter, brain and related system health, organic acids testing, microbiome, hair tissue mineral analysis or oligoscan.
All have relative indications, strengths and weaknesses with no single test comprehensive.
Resources shared to support knowledge, including researched evidence, risks and benefits for integrative approaches and standard approaches.
Recommendations relate to:
Human biochemistry, gene, immune and gut interactions. When working well these sustain neurological health and functioning.
Reducing toxins and infections which impact cellular health.
Healthy child nutrition and environmental health.
Individual susceptibility and needs - differences and their evaluation.
Supporting choices that include herbal, homeopathic, diet, supplements, medications, and body-based approaches such as kinesiology, craniosacral and neurotherapy.
> Considered psychosocial, somatic and mindfulness-oriented therapies
Family system enquiry to reflect feelings, needs and values - for positive change. Considering the wider environment, eg school.
