About
About me
I live and work in Perth, Western Australia. Many personal and clinical life and health experiences have contributed to a long-held curiosity and empathy for people's journeys. In my own life, I enjoy nature, family, pets, creativity, music, yoga studies and chocolate.
I felt very encouraged as I learnt from the many health professionals around the world who work in detail with a child's natural biology, to enable significant health recoveries. In 2023 I began a small private practice to do the same. Although I did love (and I really miss) my work with teams, families and young people in mental health services, I knew I wanted to provide this. I find natural healing very valuable, including the importance within our relationships and perceptions of ourselves..
I have needed my own journey most recently to better understand my purpose and to create a sustainable balance in my life and work. The obvious solutions for that goal were not easy for me. This began a new process, despite prior deep work and change. I made space for meditation, breathwork, learning about intuition and yogic teachings, and revisited the more difficult feelings from old experiences with compassion.
I now have new habits which help me to catch or lessen my old habits, so that I may practice choosing well. We all prefer to stay safe or comfortable, and so I practice acceptance this rest, then come back to new intentions and actions. I now have deeper trust in myself and our responsive universe. I have found that welcoming both painful and joyous feelings, and using mindful movement, stillness and energy practices can help to find greater presence and creativity.

How I work
I love to uncover what matters. By listening to young people and parents, I aim to understand each person’s concerns and qualities and to explore how biology, relational interactions and experiences are part of our present state. I keep curiosity, playfulness and an open mind present. I use an integrative health and psychiatry interview, and through pathology testing to enable relevant feedback and support for healing.

Therapeutic orientation
I believe we can create our lives more readily by pausing, feeling, and using mindful attention to cultivate compassion and trust. We also need each other.
Deep feelings have many guises, many hideouts and grooves for our thoughts and habits to follow along. Many memories encode this. To notice, pause, find acceptance and gratitude, and to remain present brings little transformation opportunities, a higher perspective and finds our truthful desires that can allow in the new. But first and alongside, we usually need healing care with a therapist or experiences within our close relationships.
I am committed to helping others to find their deeper truth and health, to value themselves and their own path. Through a process of curiosity and revisit, using mind, body, perception and intention - there are many ways for this - we can open up to more expansive insights, develop intention, shift our patterns, experience our form of intuition or self knowledge, and welcome more of our connected but unique natures.
