About me
I live and work in Perth, Western Australia. I have had significant experiences in my life and this has grown my curiosity and empathy. I have a love of nature, family, pets, creating things, music, movement and chocolate. I was deeply encouraged by the many health professionals around the world working with the natural biology of the body and how this can enable fundamental recoveries. In 2023 I began a small private practice to do the same. I loved and really miss my work with teams, families and young people in our mental health services, but I have known I wanted to provide this. I'm all about natural healing, including through our relational and experiential needs.
I also have needed my own healing journey to understand my purpose, my limits and to create sustainable balance in my work. The obvious solutions were not easy for me, and I sat with not knowing why. This was a new deep process despite being no stranger to my psyche. I had to make space and welcome guidance, and I often went in circles. As Alan Watts, spiritual philosopher had said: “We keep reactivating the past in the hope that history will guide us to where we should go; but this is like driving a car with your eyes glued to the rear view mirror.”
I found I needed new daily habits, mindfulness and actions with little clarity. I learned to practice greater trust in myself and our responsive universe. I now welcome feelings, movement, stillness and energy shifts to find greater presence and creativity. Some circles are now more like spirals of change,
Now deep feelings have many guises, many hideouts and grooves for our thoughts and habits to follow along. To notice, pause, find acceptance and gratitude, find new intention and to remain present brings little transformation opportunities. I try to keep a growth and surrender outlook to expand self awareness and how I live and work. I am committed to helping others to find their deeper truth and health with compassion, to welcome their own path.

How I work
I love to uncover what matters. By listening to young people and parents, I aim to understand each person’s concerns and qualities and to explore how biology, relational interactions and experiences are part of our present state. I keep curiosity, playfulness and an open mind present. I will explore with an integrative health and psychiatry interview, and through testing to enable relevant feedback and support for healing.

Therapeutic orientation
I believe we can create our lives more readily by pausing, feeling, receiving compassion, practicing this for ourselves, and using mindful attention. We can then rest and trust more, and broaden our experiences and confidence. Through a process of curiosity and revisit, using mind, body, perception and intention - there are many ways for this - we can open up to more expansive insight, develop intention, shift our patterns, experience intuition and welcome our connected but unique natures.
